Scholastic Book Fair has arrived!

The Scholastic Book Fair has arrived! The Book Fair will be held in the library Tuesday 17 October-Thursday 19 October 2023, and every purchase made during the Book Fair earns learning and literacy resources for our school.

Students will have the opportunity to view all books and items and complete their wish list during library time at school.

Parents and carers are invited to visit the Book Fair to view and purchase books each morning between 8:30am-9:15am on Tuesday 17 October-Thursday 19 October 2023. Purchases may be made via credit card or cash on these days. If sending cash to school with unaccompanied students, please limit the amount to $20.

Wish list items can be purchased online by families who are unable to attend the Book Fair or who prefer to pre-pay. This year, Scholastic has introduced a new method of payment. After students have visited the Book Fair, they will bring home a pre-payment form and a wish list. 

Please follow these steps to make a pre-payment: 

1. Visit the Scholastic website: https://parentpayments.scholastic.com.au/BookFairs
2. Find our school's Book Fair by selecting NSW and entering Engadine West Public School. If you are unable to find our school call: 1800 024 840.
3. Enter your details and the total value of the books you wish to pre-pay for.
4. Complete the pre-payment form, including the receipt number and amount paid.
5. Return the pre-payment form to your child's classroom teacher before Thursday 19 October 2023 to ensure items are allocated to students from the Book Fair or reordered if necessary.

Mrs Evans and Mr McCubben will distribute pre-paid orders to students as the orders are filled from wish lists. 

Other items available to purchase at the Book Fair include:  

• Posters - large posters $5 and small posters $3.
• Pencils, rulers, erasers, pencil sharpeners and pens. These items range in price from $2- $10.

These items cannot be ordered online and are only available until they are all sold. Gold coins and smaller change will be appreciated for payment.  

Don't forget to keep working on your costume for our book character dress-up day which is on Thursday 19 October 2023.
