Engadine West students participate in many activities to enhance their learning experience.
Choir
The Infants Choir and the Vocal Ensemble perform at the Sutherland Shire Music Festival.
Training Band & Senior Band
The junior and senior bands perform at a variety of functions including band camp, Education Week, BandFest, the Festival of Instrumental Music, Garrawarra Day and John Paul Village.
Band members are also offered the opportunity to participate in the Regional Band Camp and perform at the Sydney Opera House.

Public speaking
Activities include:
- Debates, Interviews
- Drama, Readers Theatre
- Talent spot/quest – specific topic
- Student led assemblies
- Participation in the Ultimo Public Speaking Competition and Multicultural Public Speaking Competition.
Performing Arts Groups
EWPS has enjoyed a comprehensive creative arts program which has included the senior and junior bands, Wakakirri Dance ensemble, recorder, choirs (K-2, 3-4 and 5-6), drama groups and percussion ensemble. Performances at various venues are attended by the community during Education Week and throughout the year.
